Within the village we have St Anne’s Church, the Village Hall, the Recreation Area (a playground
behind the church), the Chandler’s Arms pub (Hook Norton Brewery) and a private nursery “The
Ark”.

St Anne’s Church
There is an interregnum at present after the death of Timothy Wimbush. The Associate Minister is
Revd John Tattersall (01295 780283, jhtatters@aol.com). John is at present handling enquiries
about Baptisms, Marriages and the publication of Banns. There is a service most Sundays
usually at 9.45 am and on some Wednesdays at 9.30 am. See the Wykeham News and Epwell
Echo for more details. Our Churchwardens are Dawn Castle (788473) and David Long (788242).

The Village Hall

The committee looks after the hall and organises various events during the year, including the
Fete. See details in Epwell Echo and on the noticeboard outside the Hall.
